Short Wye Valley Loop  (Short and Easy)


24miles, 2078feet of climbing.


A gentle introduction to the Wye Valley starting and finishing at Parkend. Not a flat ride, but moderate, steady climbing up to St Briavels Village before dropping down to the Wye. An easy meander north following the river to Redbrook before climbing in steps to Clearwell before dropping back down to Parkend.

Longer Wye Valley Loop (Wye Valley, Easy)


36 miles, 2995feet of climbing


Slightly more challenging distance wise, covering more of the Wye Valley, starting and finishing in Parkend

Around the Severn (Severn Loop, Hard)

73.4miles, 3760feet of climbing


A loop of the beautiful Severn valley incorporating a ride across the Severn bridge, and the flat plain from Thornbury up to Gloucester.

Around the Forest  (Hilly route 1, Med )

Short but relatively hilly route of the Forest to test the legs.

A lumpy loop out to Usk and back via Wye Valley and St Briavels. Quiet roads but some hard climbs, but some great descents
