About us

Royal Dean Forest Cycling Club’s primary aim is to enjoy cycling –  whether that’s social or competitive – you’ll find us out on the roads, trails and tracks around the cycling utopia that is the Forest of Dean. We’re an eclectic club with a strong, 60 year long heritage spanning many flavours of cycling.

Our regular schedule of social club road, cyclo-cross and mountain bike rides is supplemented with audax, time trial, road racing and track events. The club is proud to be represented by members at local, regional and National open events.

We are affiliated with British Cycling as a Go-Ride Clubmark Club, Cycling Time Trial and Cyclists’ Touring Club (CTC).

Club Rides

For the latest club rides, we compile a monthly spreadsheet which is also updated regularly on our facebook page. Please contact the ride leader for more info.

September Ride Schedule

Note that there are 2 rides on 23rd. Steve Beal is leading the Black Mountain ride and the start time is  7am departure from Coleford (the co op car park opposite the Police station).

Time Trials and Events

You can find information on upcoming RDFCC Races, Time Trials and other events here.

We also list Non-RDFCC events which some members might have entered or we think club members will be interested in. If you have an event or think an event should be listed, please get in touch.
